Training Overview/Course Offerings

AMA's training division was established to provide On/Off site training courses to the environmental community. AMA has spent countless hours developing courses that are approved by the EPA, HUD, and many States and other agencies. We keep close contact with Federal and State regulators to keep our courses current. By doing these things, AMA has developed long lasting relationships with the clients we train.

AMA's vision is to help organizations manage environmental, health and safety training issues so that they provide a safe work environment and comply with regulatory requirements.

What is Unique About AMA's Instruction?
One of the most unique facets of AMA's courses is our extensive hands-on training. We believe that the best way to learn and remember is "to do". Fully 50% of our course time will have students involved in direct hands-on applications. The AMA Training Division has established a solid reputation in the environmental field for teaching the most up-to-date information in methods that are both interesting and challenging. We have trained people from a variety of trades and professions. AMA's teaching philosophy is based upon the belief that people learn most effectively when they are involved and excited by the subject material. All training may be done at our facility or at a client's job site.

How does AMA keep track of the students they train?
AMA can aid in keeping students up to date on their re-certification by entering them into our in-house database tracking system. Our database allows us to notify the student by mail 45-60 days prior to re-certification and can provide you with a list of individuals who have completed the course. This process reminds students as well as employers to keep their certifications current. Once a student graduates from the course, they will remain in the student tracking database a minimum of five years.
